Misako Rocks!

I went to Floriday Naples city to attend the symposium of the art of children's book illustration!! It was fantastic trip! I met amazing artists there.
And of course I met a lot of kids too. I showed my photos from childhood, my comics, etc. I hope students who came to my speech enjoyed-! Ginamarie who organized this event treated me so so well. When I had a time, me and my new friend, Yeo-Joo went to a beach! Oh my goshhhhhh. It was so so beautiful. I have never seen such an amazing sunset!

I took this photo on the way to an airport. And I was the only person who wore boots there!!

This morning I had a nice distance-trip to NewJersey!! My friends Janna and Kyo san invited me to their house for brunch! It was wonderful-----!! after that I played with their cutie daughter Mei-chan! Since I moved to NYC, I haven't had such a relaxed and nice brunch at all. Everyday I was running somewhere. I know that's the way it is here-- I gotta get used to this life style! First year in NYC has been pretty tough for me and Kuririn. But It's fun at the same time!

Right now I am working on art works for presentation at Naples city FL! I'm leaving there this Thursday. I'll show many photos of my childhood, college days, etc. Hope kids enjoy my talk!

 

The other day I bought MONEY TREE!! This tree is going to bring a GOOD LUCK to our house~!!
Usually each stem has five or six leaves and if you have SEVEN leaves, you are super lucky and this tree will give you A LUCK for sure--

And and,,,,, I found a stem which has SEVEN leaves!!!!!!! Oh my god-- How lucky we are!!!!!
I couldn't stope taking photos of them...

I am going to take care of my greens more and more. I want to do gardening~!! Someday we will have a house with a nice back yard!

I have been very busy these days and finally I have a chance to write here!

The other day, LABOR DAY me and Kuririn checked a big, crazy Parade in Crown Heights!! I have seen similar parade in TOKYO DISNEYLAND, but this was 100 times bigger for sure! Super fast raggae music, sexy ladies who were almost naked were dancing, too many police officers, etc.

I realized that I can check parts of different countries in this small city NY! I don't need to go travel! Well,, yes I like traveling..

Anyway it was crazy and fun to check out that parade!!
