Yesterday was my third workshop-day at Elmhurst Library in Queens!
Last week I caught a cold, so I didn’t expect many kids to come back. Luckily ONLY girls came!
Everybody focus and were good at drawing!
My Japanese friend, Maria chan came to observe my class. She took some photos. Check them out!

Yesterday I had a book signing and quick drawing workshop at Barns and Noble in Brooklyn!
It’s my favorite location^_^ Even though it was a rainy days, kids showed up! Thank you so much!
The store set up my books pretty nicely— I would love to do another event there again!

In the end we did ruffle! Two people won my Detective Jermain posters–

Hi Everyone! Happy New Year!!!!!!!!
Finally I finished Detective Jermain vol2 Yeahhhhhhh! I’m going to have a short break, then start working on DJ3 soon!!
But I feel super weird not to work even a day! So I designed a new post card for DJ.
Here’s how I color my illustration(Pretty rough process>_<):

I usually draw characters, background separately.

Then I set characters together. By then I finish coloring each character.

I color background, then I add some bubbly effects to make it cute.

I add strawberries as a frame. Then I tweak some parts.
