Misako Rocks!

I’m in Love with BOSTON now! What a beautiful city and great people.
I had an amazing time there.
This time Kuririn came with me– FINALLY! So it was a good short break for him.

Usually when I’m invited to cons/anime festivals, cartoonists and voice actors don’t have a chance to hang out together.
BUT we did this time! We had a fun workshop together too.
Me and Veronica(who is a super star voice actress who did the voice of Ash&May from POKEMON) became friends^_^ We’re planning on having more workshops together!

And luckily all of my comics were sold out! Whewwww—- Thank you! and I do hope you enjoy reading them.

I would love to go back to AB next year for sure!

We stayed on 26th floor of Sheraton hotel. Look at white sailboats!! It was an amazing view for sure.

This’ the workshop I was talking about. I drew rough characters and voice actors came up with some scripts. Then we picked some people from the audience. At the beginning we didn’t know what the panel was about. But we discussed on the stage and did it!

After closing ceremony AB staff took all guests to cruising! Look at this gigantic ship!

I can’t believe I was on this ship…. what a dreamy evening.

Kuririn and I took a lot of fun photos from Downtown and Anime Boston.

My speech went really well. Before I started, I played my dorky music. Some people seemed to enjoy it!

Many people came to talk to me. That was really nice!

Today is the 2nd day. It will be fun again!

Kurirn and I are in Boston right now! We’re in love with this beautiful city. We saw so many many people in a long line to get their badges! Hotel was filled with people too.

I think it will be a wonderful event for sure!

I really can’t wait for tomorrow.

I’m leaving to Boston to attend AB! It’s my first time to visit Boston which I used as a model city of Detective Jermain series!!! I can’t wait to check out the city—!!

Last night Kurirn and I ended up watching Project Runway Season 1 until 2 AM>_<

Why?
Let me tell you what happened.
I was fixing the NY Public Library Anti-Prom Party invitation design(Vampire-Prom). This year they invite Tim Gunn and Austin Scarlett as guest hosts! I was fixing the fonts.
And as you know they’re from Project Runway show.

We started talking about this show while I was working on this…then started watching all episodes!

I’m sleepless today, but I just had to watch the show and it made me relieved.

Hello my friends!! I’m back’n NYC from Anime Central.
I had a great time there–. All of staff at Acen treated me very very nice.
And thanks to everybody, I SOLD OUT all of my comics!
Especially Rock and Roll Love was gone right away, since the book has a lot of scenes from Madison Wisconsin where I used to live.
I met a lot of kids from WI and had a nice chat.

My new friend, DJ HeavyGrinder. I bet some of you know her already.

I’m going to get ready to leave to Anime Boston!!! Hope you’ll visit me!

I’m about to leave NY to Chicago! It’s my first time to attend this event. I’ll sell Biker Girl, Rock&Roll Love, Detective Jermain vol1 and posters! If you haven’t read and are interested in, please come to check them out!

This weekend I was invited to Sakura Matsuri at Brooklyn Botanic garden as I mentioned many times!
It was pretty rainy weekend. BUT! many people showed up and seemed to enjoy the festival. I was happy to see them smile!

Look at these beautiful Sakura trees!!!! Kuririn and I couldn’t stop taking photos. We’re so lucky to live near this garden and invited to do book signing and give a speech.
And my model Jermain’s parents visited me. So it was exciting!

These super cute kids showed up in the end of Saturday. We were talking about Manga. Arghhh They’re just so adorable!

During this festival I was on Japanese Radio show, interviewed Cable TV and one of NY Radio channels. I’ll update the link as soon as I receive them!
