Halloween party at Botanic Garden

Brooklyn Botanic Garden always holds amazing events!!!

Today I was invited to do book signing and demonstration at their Halloween party Ghouls & Gourds! Most of them were too young for my books. But they seemed to enjoy my demonstration a lot!

I was just happy to be outside and have a great time with a lot of families, teens and adults!

They’re amazing!!! It reminds me of my puppeteer days! I used to walk on stilts and act. But I wasn’t good at dancing with it…

I showed up as a Panda Bear like last year. Some of kids remembered me! Yay—

I drew some Halloween-theme-illustration. I had only 15 minutes to do!

A lot of adults started gathering the tents. That was great!

And of course kids wanted to wear my Panda head. I let them wear during my demonstration. They’re sooooooo cuuuuuuuuuute!!! Aghhh.. too cute..

This is my favorite outside event. I could meet a lot of picture book authors who I barely have a chance to talk^_^

Okay… so now I should go back to work. Soon I’ll show some of sample pages from my new comic “Made in Japan volw1″!!
